This started with a couple friends letting loose and expressing what makes them bounce, bop and roll and now its become a place for just that.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We want to acknowledge that the land we will be on for the duration of the festival is land protected by the Maara’yam people, commonly known as the Serrano people, for generations. We as individuals understand that land acknowledgement in itself will not turn over the injustice or solve any of the systemic issues surrounding land sale, theft and use. However, we hope that through acknowledging and keeping the original stewards of the land forefront on our mind, we may make it our utmost priority to preserve, protect, and most importantly love the land that we reside in. We come to this land with the intention of fostering community and creating a space that honors, respects, and encourages human expression. The Cielito Lindo community asks that you treat the land as your own, the plants as your elders and the people around as your family.
